President's Message

If you missed the ACI CNY meeting held at SUNY ESF headquarters on 2/24, you missed a lot! No offense to any of the other awesome, amazing meetings we have had over the years, but this one was truly one of the best, epitomizing the goals of our chapter. The event brought out the best and the brightest in the construction field.

The blue ribbon panel we put together covered all aspects of our great industry and presented a positive example to the many Syracuse and ESF students in attendance (see photo below). I can’t thank Ken Tiss enough for the enormous amount of effort he put into this event. It truly was an extremely educational and informative night. I hope to convince Ken to do this again next year.

Our next event at the DoubleTree Hotel on 3/9 will be equally amazing I’m sure, as it will reveal the new robotic block setting devise, the SAM100. I am sure you will not want to miss this breakthrough in the masonry industry.

Lastly, I am proud to say we have received a banner crop of projects submitted for our world famous awards banquet being held on 4/6. Please be sure to mark this date on your calendars as it is always an exciting night to view and celebrate these projects and your accomplishments.

I look forward to seeing you on 3/9.
